Greatness in Granada

The other day, I ventured into another magnificent Andalusian city, and probably one of the most well-known, Granada. Granada is a famous city here in the south of Spain known as home to the great Alhambra.

Quick recap if you’ve never heard of La Alhambra. It’s one of the most famous monuments of Islamic architecture boasting with gorgeous gardens and stonework. This breathtaking palace and fortress was the first Spanish monument to be declared a World Heritage by UNESCO in 1984.

People spend hours upon hours in the Alhambra, and tickets even sell out! So I booked my ticket online beforehand for a 4pm reservation. I was in there for two hours before I had to catch my bus back to Málaga, but it was long enough to get a taste of why this place is so spectacular!
